Luke looks down the length of the boardroom table at his boyfriend, Dr. Reid Oliver, who is sitting at the head of the table, near the county commissioner. The commissioner is standing and speaking to the fifteen people seated at the large table, and Reid appears bored, as he doodles on the notebook in front of him. Luke stares at his lover until Reid feels it and looks up. Their eyes lock. Reid does that thing that Luke loves where he smiles with his eyes, instead of his mouth. It's subtle, and Luke's not really sure how he does it, but it creates this delicious tugging feeling in his stomach every time

I'm sure I've said this a dozen times before but this probably my favorite thing about ESS/Reid - that he conveys so much with just his eyes.
