Richard was tenacious when it came to something he really wanted. Take collage for example: despite the fact that he and his family didn't have two nickles to rub together, or that he wasn't particularly athletic, or intellectually gifted, Richard had busted his ass, and God willing, he'd have his degree by next spring. The problem was finding something that he felt that strongly about. He could count on one hand the number of time something had peeked enough interest, that it would trigger the doggedness that lurked deep inside. The truth was, he was...not lazy, but mostly unaffected by the things around him ( ... )

Blasphemer! You can't take down a flowersforchuckficlet - don't even think about it! And besides, these are all good words :)

As for Richard: poor guy, poor poor guy, always on the losing end...

Eventually, Reid would come to see his good attributes...or slap a restraining order on him. Either way, Richard could say he had tried his best, and that was all that really mattered.

Bwahahaha! Oh, poor Richard! He never stood a chance.

Oh, poor Richard. Can't really blame the guy for trying, heh.
