Reid was in his study all morning, working on a journal article that was due at the end of the week. It really wasn't how he wanted to spend his Saturday, especially since things had been strained with Luke the past couple of weeks with both of them overworked and stressed out about deadlines and other job-related demands. However, the weather was crappy, so Reid figured he'd use the day to finish his journal article and hopefully have his Sunday free to reconnect with Luke ( ... )

No, he had never made love in the rain. Luke knew that because prior to Luke, Reid hadn't made love to anyone, anywhere, and Luke was well aware of it.

He grabbed Luke's face in his hands and kissed him, tasting rain on his lips as he walked Luke backward and pulled him down into the wet grass.

I read that and promptly began singing Thunder Island. And am now listening to it.

This was so sweet. Luke is really such a kind, caring person, helping Reid to relieve his stress in such a fashion.

Love how Luke knows how to gently guide Reid out of his comfort zone and that Reid trusts him enough to try and actually enjoy himself. Great ficlet!!

Nice play on the "shower" and yeah...I like the making love for the first time in the rain....and just f*cking...sounds very familiar to me :-)
