Reid glanced at the bed and at Luke and then walked out.
Luke fell onto the bed, sighing heavily.

a pattern, isn't it?
Luke being hurt and lost in it lashing out, pushing things even further down the road of disaster and Reid paralyzed and hiding ...

say it

Would it have helped?
Sometimes Luke seemed to misunderstand Reid deliberately and the other way round.

Oh boys!
Oh Sleeper you really like 'angsty', don't you? ;)

Can't wait for the following scene.

I really do like angst. Ha ha. I don't know what it is but I like perfect couples being not so perfect.
They're both hurting each other more as each tries to protect himself from further hurt, which only makes things more complicated. :(

Thanks!

Oh, boys. :( I can see why Luke wants Reid to make the first step after the Chicago fiasco, so to speak, but in the back of his mind, he has to know it's not that easy for Reid to open up and make himself vulnerable to even more hurt. Let's see if he'll actually manage to move out...

No, it's not easy for Reid but Luke wants and needs Reid to talk. They both have to open up or else it will be all over.

Let's see if he'll actually manage to move out...
Let's see . . .

Of course I'm gonna fix it! In time . . .

I can't explain it but I do like creating drama and trouble for our guys.

Oh, Sleep....I love your angst soooooooooo much.

I cannot imagine living in those particular living arrangements, so I can understand Luke wanting out of the house, even though he made the attempt with Reid at the hotel. Reid's so freaking stubborn sometimes, but his: "If you, uh, need help packing, I can help." Luke should see right through that transparent wall, right there.

Seriously, girl, this little series you have going on is delightful because it feels so real. It makes my heart ache for them, and I want to knock them both upside the head and tell them to stop being doofuses. Also, I can enjoy it because I know eventually, they are going to find their way back to each other, right? RIGHT? ;-P

Personally, I hope you keep the angst going a little bit longer. It will make the eventual reunion all that much sweeter. Great job at moving this along through the FFF prompts.

Thank you!

Yeah, Reid is stubborn. But so is Luke! That's why this fight is dragging.

I think I'm torturing the boys too much already but I do want to continue the angst for a bit longer before the big, fat, happy ending. :)

Thanks so much for your comment!

Ah you can feel them both hurting.

I understand Luke choosing to go even when he really doesn't want to leave Reid or the house.
He is hurting everytime he sees Reid and they are not together.

Let's see what is next for them.

Yup, Luke is hurting. And so is Reid. And they need to figure out to talk before it's too late.

Wow, honey, so full of angst and love and misunderstandings...so much not being said and then when it is they just can't seem to get it right.

Well done, so well done:-)

Still no glimpse of hope? *wipes tears away*

Reid cleared his throat. “When are you moving out?”

“A few days. Dad’s coming to help me pack and then that’s that.”

“That’s that,” Reid repeated quietly.

No it's not. It will never be over....right? Right! Come on you guys, give this poor woman a break...
