"Happy sigh", lots of good angst and a pissed Reid who of course rags out on the man he loves (yep we always do take it out on them....) and then shuts up for a few days just so Luke get's worried..."bastard!" but then you made it all better YEAH!!!!

“You knuckle-head,” he said softly, “On what planet would that happen? You’re stuck with me, even when I’m being a dick. And when I lose a patient, I’m a dick. And since I was the dick, what do you need me to do to make it better?”

“Show me your dick?” Luke answered, a small smile blooming across his perfect features.

Oh, Reid, you have to let Luke take care of you! But I do get that when Reid experiences a loss, he really doesn't want anyone around. Maybe in time, though, he'll come to accept that it's okay to have someone beside him when dealing with such matters. Maybe?

I'm so glad he showed Luke that everything is okay. Luke needs to know that everything is okay. And glad Reid apologized. :)

Why do I love it so much when Reid is a complete and utter dick head? I think he needs to be punished. *snicker*

Poor Luke, conditioned to think that not-so-nice words means the end of things. (noahmayergrrrrrrrrrrrr).

I adore it anytime that Reid apologizes to Luke because I don't think it's easy for him but that it's also very heartfelt.

Maybe next time Luke will give Reid a little more space and maybe Reid will be a little more willing to find some comfort in Luke.

Reid spent the next several hours going over his patient’s medical records and then hunting down each member of his surgical team to discuss their collective failure. This sentence delighted me for some reason. I can see it in my head.

Reid, you complete asshole! Ugh. Yet I still love him, and I guess Luke does, too. *sigh* But really, I'm glad he realized what a dick he'd been. Good thing Luke is so forgiving.

Here's hoping that a few years down the road, Reid'll be a little more communicative and Luke wouldn't just take behavior like that (and think it's his fault) anyway. :)

I was a bit worried that Reid could be so hurtfull after Luke already apologished and explaned that he wanted to help.

I hope that after Reid realised how insecure and hurt Luke was he took a mental note to try and be less off an ass next time he is feeling this way.

It will be beter when they are together longer. And Luke knows Reid isn't going to dump him after each little bump and Reid knows some other way of dealing with a crappy day at work.

I recomend a full body masage and sharing a pint of ice cream before a very early night.

They'll figure it out together, this whole relationship thing. And it will get better! They'll live happily ever after. Meanwhile, I can totally see this happening in their early days. Great little fic!
