Well, the kids and I have fallen down the RPG rabbit hole... Like I NEED something else to take up my time. See, this is why I don't have time to scrapbook and rubber stamp. The grandkids will be saying someday, "Granny, why are all your photos piled in shoe boxes? Why aren't they in elaborate scrapbooks with hand stamped labels?"

Yay for plain old filthy fun. :D I think that's why my writing's going so badly... I'm trying to be all serious and stuff. :rolleyes:

I wish I knew how to turn it on and off like a faucet, LOL. And maybe make it more commercial... But I finally gave myself permission to write a terrible wish-fulfillment filthy bit and lo and behold, suddenly back-story pops in, a pointless object turns out to be an important plot point and now I'm 15,000 words into the 'throw-away' bit of dirty fan fic.

I don't think there's a lesson in there, more's the pity. Maybe it's just that creativity is a pain in the hiney sometimes.
