Well, everyone...that's it for the 2011 LuRe Big Bang! I can't thank all of the authors, artists, betas and cheerleaders for making this Big Bang so successful. I'm in awe of all of the work you guys have done. I, myself, have no creativity but I love to read, and I love LuRe. This has been such an amazing treat. There are some people I need to single out and thank:
1)tonje90, bhumimak and ktbob for being my support system and my cheering squad. When I found myself doing this alone, they were there for me and I can't thank them enough.
2)dearthursday who was a HUGE help to me. I had no idea what I was doing, and since she was doing the Pirate Big Bang, I asked her lots of questions. She answered all of them (without even sounding annoyed), and I can't thank her enough.
3)aljc100 for taking all of these lovely stories and putting them into PDF volumes so that we can put them on our e-readers and carry them around with us. How awesome is that? I really am so grateful because I know what a huge undertaking that is. I know because there were a couple I couldn't wait for (ahem, "Feel Me Ocean" and "Jello") and I copied and pasted them to Word and converted them to PDFs. It's work!
4)snapegirlusa for taking all of these stories and painstakingly posting them over to LRO. Also, a project in itself. Thank you, thank you!
If there is interest, I would be happy to do this again next year. This is a wonderful fandom - we're capable of great things!
