As one who served in the military but did not fight in any wars, trust me, you did not miss much.

I have tons of respect for the ranks who served and sufferred, but that doesn't make them any more macho than someone, say . . . like my hubby, who works every day to provide health care for our baby, and even changes and feeds her when he can.
