Took first in a local tournament, and while the extra 75 bucks is nice, the way I did it was more important. In 17 games of 8 ball, I lost 3. I didn't lose my nerve, I didn't lose my focus, I just didn't lose, period. The minute I stepped up to a table I knew exactly how to run it out. I knew when to play defense and when to let it fly. Even the more difficult shots seemed more a matter of "how?" than "can I?"
