RENO.
Autumn is peeking around the corner and I'm waiting there with a party popper.
Left home around 5 in the morning on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and we plowed through the endless road to Reno to visit my aunt. We got there around 1 which is really fast, well, at least I think it is. On the way to Reno we were suppose to stop by Jamestown, bc we wanted to visit Railtown which is where they filmed Back to the Future III. Too bad we missed the turnoff...WE SHALL CONQUER YOU NEXT TIME AWESOME TIME TRAVELING TRAIN!
When we arrived in Reno, the three of us went to an all out BBQ ribs cook off. It was AMAZING.....there were rows and rows and rows of BBQ rib vendors, and of course John and I didn't hesitate to devour a side of juicy finger lickin pig. mmmm....
I learned that pineapples covered in chocolate does not mix, but this one had strawberry, banana, peach, and pineapple. WIN.

@ the University of Reno planetarium to watch the Pink Floyd laser show, and WOW....it was radical. I really wish I was high bc it would have made it so much better... That show had to have be made for ppl who aren't sober, bc the visuals were insane!
This is one of my aunts dogs staring down at Johns feet b/c he's wearing my aunts flip flops. He and I went tubing down the Truckee river in my aunts tubes. It would have been perfect if we didn't start/end so late (3-6), b/c it started getting cold around 5.
After stuffing our faces with an all you can eat sushi dinner (about $20 per PERSON!!!), John and I went to dtown Reno to do a little bit of gambling. Actually, I didn't do any gambling at all b/c I get nervous about risking money like that, BUT! I guess it was a good thing. Turns out that I'm Johns lucky lady bc he kept getting 20s at the blackjack table, and he ended up winning the money he spent on buying dinner for 3. hahaha. Life is such a gag.
The next day the 3 of us went to Vikingsholm, which is an old nordic styled house that was created by a woman in the 20's. The house was at lake tahoe, and man oh man this lady had some excellent taste in interior design.
