Oh! I'm not in the Grand Prix! When they had the A series in Sydney & there was the women's PV, Parnov jumped 4.20, and the winner, Alana Boyd has just qualified for Beijing.
So I'm definitely not in their league. Yet.
The gym's amazing. Hee. I think I may be sending out a general update, if I can't use the net, from a net cafe' I guess.
I should have been clearer. I meant the F1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne - you know, the season opener. 22 awesomely fast Formula One cars driven round the wondrous Albert Park. ;-)
But, of course, given the chance, I'd love to watch you compete...I somehow don't see you jumping across a track with cars flying by. :-p
I could always call you on my special phone that affords me free calls to like, everywhere I ever need to call internationally. :-D
Ah, well. I went there the year they opened up, so I don't know how hard it is to get in, exactly.
What sport do you do? I do Athletics, so basically if you're at State level you can get in. I go to Westfields Sports and compete at National level, but there's people who're only State level, and they're in.
As for soccer, not entirely sure. Their team beats our team, and our team's hard to get into.
Really, all I can say is that you can try out, and if you don't get in at least you've trialed and given yourself that opportunity.
Hee. Just watch out for Bob Hawkes, the sport director. he's a big fat red rooster fan :).
