100 things about jess (all beginning with the letter "I"): a work in progress
XD okay, before you thinking i'm a conceited psycho...:3 i've been writing this list over a period of about a year XD and it's currently up to 84 things...sooo. here goes. :3
disclaimer: some of these things no longer hold true, being written about a year ago, but most of them are pure, uncensored fact :3
1. i don't know how to sit properly in a chair. it's so boring and uncomfortable to sit with two feet on the floor, legs together. XD i always have to have one stretched out or tucked under. i hate chairs. i would rather sit on the floor.
2. i work at supertarget and a stable on the weekends. "streamwood super target, this is jess, can i help you find something?"
3. i used to collect lamps that do things. tornado lamps, lava lamps, wave lamps, bubble lamps, spinning lamps, sparkle lamps...:3
4. i once dared my brother to pee on a leaf and lick it. and he did.
5. i read comic books and play video games.
6. i support gay marriage.
7. i brush my teeth in the shower.
8. i am an atheist.
9. i dance while i clean my room.
10. i cannot resist chinese food.
11. i play dress-up when i'm bored.
12. i love animals and have/have had a million pets.
13. i have rather large feet.
14. i am a sucker for roses. as long as they're not red.
15. i own three skirts and one dress.
16. i love to cook. (my specialty is omelets. my favorite christmas present last year was my own set of measuring spoons.)
17. i like roller coasters because they're the only place i can scream like i want to.
18. i still cut my sandwiches down the middle and sometimes i don't eat the crust.
19. i only kept my nails long when i was a kid so that i could scratch people in self-defense.
20. i have dead animals in my basement.
21. i secretly love when things are organized, even though my room is always a mess.
22. i have uneven boobies. my left one is a tad bigger.
23. i loved loggins and messina when i was little.
24. i hang every shirt i own in my closet, even the t-shirts. i can't fold a shirt to save my life.
25. i love old and/or abandoned things.
26. i have had pierced ears since i was five, but no one knows.
27. i collect keys.
28. i like the number 23.
29. i have been able to play "hot cross buns" on the violin from memory since the fourth grade.
30. i am a would-be bisexual.
31. i hate moths, natural disasters, grape-flavored candy, and that nasty, crusty stuff on the edge of the milk carton.

33. i am learning hot to belly dance.
34. would like to someday coach a youth girls' softball team.
35. i save the color purple for special occasions because every time i wear it, someone tells me it's "my color".
36. i currently have a list of about twenty different countries i want to visit someday. it is constantly growing.
37. i like my hands.
38. i associate everything with smells. first-day-of-school smell, halloween smell, softball-season smell.
39. i have a total of ___ notebooks and ___ sketchbooks in my bedroom. research still being conducted.
40. i have a shelf full of neat things and prized possessions.
41. i still play with dolls :3
42. i trust my magic eight ball just a little too much.
43. i play bass guitar and violin, and i would like to play cello and acoustic guitar someday.
44. i have been arrested.
45. i used to have two alarm clocks in my room so that i would wake up all the way in the time it took to turn both of them off.
46. i watch porn. yessiree. :3
47. i still have my furby and my gigapets. a lot of them are broken and that makes me sad.
48. i am a pretty mean girl.
49. i swear like a truck driver when i'm happy.
50. i crack a lot of inappropriate jokes XD
51. i am a die-hard bulls' fan.
52. i was always the bully. i got in trouble a lot. i am still always the bully. :3
53. i cannot do a handstand, force myself to belch, or do that creepy double-jointed-finger thing. i guess i am just not lucky.
54. i like learning new words.
55. i wish i could be a teacher, a chef, a hairdresser, a busdriver, a paleontologist, a crime scene investigator, a writer, a veterinarian, a photography, an inventor, a musician, an activist, a carnie, a tattoo artist, a psychologist, and a mom.
56. i want to run or help run an animal shelter.
57. i want to drive around the country in a beat-up old car and write a book about my life.
58. i am pretty flexible for a fat girl.
59. i own sexy lingerie.
60. i can't stand overly screamy music that maintains a heavy notion of mindless noise and leads me to believe that the 'singers' vocal chords have been permanently damaged.
61. i am a closet "harry potter" fan.
62. i like reggaeton and spanish rock and eminem :3 and basically everything besides rap and country. there are always a few exceptions.
63. i carry pictures of my favorite people in the world inside my wallet.
64. i am mildly masochistic and i like kinky things :3
65. i still cannot manage to fall asleep easily on christmas eve.
66. i hope to have babies someday.
67. i love pointless movies that make you think hard.
68. i hate seeing forests go down and houses, malls, and billboards go up.
69. i like to burn candles and incense.
70. i can't wait to go to college and stand on my own two feet.
71. i learned how to drive in mid-january of 2005 in a snowstorm.
72. i hate my handwriting.
73. i have flower wall-border in my bedroom, but i also have a pillow shaped like a can of hawaiian punch, so that totally cancels it out.
74. i appreciate a good manicure.
75. i have a brown bag full of a rainbow of different-colored condoms in my underwear drawer. just 'cause i'm cool like that XD
76. i fucking hate shaving.
77. i love thrift stores and flea markets and renaissance faires.
78. i sometimes spend entire days at home in my pajamas.
79. i wish i had time to read the paper every morning while i eat breakfast.
80. i would be content if my only worldly possessions were a camera, unlimited amounts of film, a stockpile of notebooks, and some writing utensils.
81. i love movies from the late 80s to the early 90s. so much grungy wisdom.
82. i have kerotosis pilaris.
83. i was born at 9:14 in the morning on april 1st. april fool's day :3
84. i really enjoy writing lists.
