I have similar questions about meth. Who puts these things together and goes, "Wow, that was not only worth the large amount of time and severe risk of extremely painful death, but a really good idea!"?

As a side note, the TV show Breaking Bad is really interesting and very good. And all about a high school chem teacher who starts making meth to make money.
