Coloring is okay, although...the background is too crowded?

I need to have a crowded background in order to lure the viewers from noticing my crappy colorings and drawing. But it IS too crowded. I did have a background in mind, only that I was too lazy to draw it. XD

Could I offer a suggestion - I find it really hard to draw a pose just out of my imagination, so I usually take a picture of myself in the character's pose, and use that pose for a reference. It's a really easy way to eliminate any problems with proportions and stuff!

Oh yes thanks for the suggestions~~ <3 Photos are a great source. One of the great problems still lies with the coloring.
