Hurrah, I'm always glad to see more of this fic!

I'm curious about Petra's doppelganger, indeed. And I'm also wondering if Simon's surprise at Petra's blood type had something to do with his looking at Sam's medical chart just before that? So I'm thinking now there's something he's not telling her, too. Quid pro quo.

Looks like you left a beta note in there, though - "check Black Market for a name" (FTR, I'm not sure there were any names other than Phelan--who Lee killed. And given the passage of time, you might just as well make one up.)

Glad you liked it. This chapter really sets up the mysteries that the fic follows throughout the story, so I'm glad they're intriguing.

Thanks for the catch on the note. I fixed that once this morning, but then LJ crashed and I forgot the second time.

Ah, no problem! I posted a fic yesterday, and LJ spat the dummy at me - I ended up having to repost it twice and then edit it before it stopped going spazzy.

And yes, very intriguing. In an "omg, I want to read the rest of this story RFN" kind of way. I shall be patient, though.

Thank-you for the comment. The creating the universe is one of my favorite parts, if too easily distracting. I spend hours figuring out what the cheapest way to make clothes in outer space would be and then have to make myself stop and actually write!

Yeah, I'm a whiz at cross-stitch, but that's not terribly useful in a situation like this! Although it brings up a generational issue, because teaching adults to do fine handwork like that would be difficult, but kids would learn it more quickly. Brings up all sorts of crazy child-labor issues.

Actually, I'm thinking they might be able to grow bamboo on the bioship and make rayon, at least in small quantities. But I keep getting stuck on solvents. How would they get the Sodium Hydroxide and bleach?

Yeah, the extent of the deterioration are one of the things I felt I really needed to add after seeing 4.5, for the sake of the realism.

Where is Lee? That's the 64,000 dollar question, isn't it...

I love the universe you have created here. The level of detail is amazing. I just stayed up for several hours reading it.

Petra is her mother's daughter and it sounds like she has been through hell. Lee needs to find out RFN. We will be getting another update soon?

Thanks so much for reviewing. I've been in that place where I know I need sleep, but can't stop reading a fic, and it's so awesome that someone else is saying that about my story! I love getting new readers and I will be updating this shortly. I've had some major issues that have make these updates sporadic, but I think I'm in a place now where things will be better.
