This is the best piece I have read on this horrible situation; things I have intuited but have no actual knowledge of the situation. It's obvious that racism has a great deal to do with this, the whole, "it's just another black man, what does it really matter." And yes, that is an actual opinion I heard voiced while in southern Oklahoma visiting my ex's relations. Horrible.

I have to admire Troy's handling of his last day. I've been convinced all along that he was innocent. I'm immensely disappointed with Georgia but horrified with the Supreme Court. I almost feel as if, since it was late at night, they just said, "aw screw it, leave the judgemnt as is." SO horrid.
