So I just got off the phone with Turtle Lane about a couple of things and got this random nugget, "If you're ever interested in stage managing let me know."

So far I've acted in their shows, expressed interest in directing there, and house managed.

I have no idea how that translated for the general manager into me stagemanaging Guys and Dolls -

Have you read Hollander's "Red Herring"? I didn't know anything about it before I read it for auditions, but it seemed like a lot of fun. Designed for a cast of six to play multiple parts, but you could easily expand it, and I think it would play all right in a small theater.
