Food Entry.
So, dinner went well. I tried three new recipes, and was still remarkably stress free (that's what happens when you're up early, and finish the actual cooking part early, I guess). And my apartment looks fantastic, if I do say so myself.

it's totally a salad time of the year, isn't it? todd and i made a variation on a cold rice salad that we got in an eating well magazine. of course, i didn't fully read the recipe before getting started, so i had to deviate quite a bit from the instructions given...and then at that point i said what the hell and added chicken to the salad, but the point is that it was pretty good. :)
a little weird because it has cherries and honey and lemon juice and curry and saffron and celery in it...but it turns out those tastes go quite well together. who knew!
