Goodness, Hetalia.. the fandom I hate and at the same time I'm curious about it. And it results in me stalking the Hetalia threads on 4chan from time to time.

Admittedly, I don't know that much about the fandom as a whole because it's far too large and fast-paced for my tastes. [Given, the Pokemon fandom is also huge, but they don't post every five seconds. =A=;;]

I just stick to mooching off their fansubs/translations and saving pretty pictures. =3=

You don't always need the fandom to enjoy the series, right~? :D

I find myself intrigued by Hetalia. What little I know of the series is gleaned from either frenzied fans or fanatical opposition, and one can't help but question the accuracy of such sources. What information can you provide about the series (and its horde of fans)?

Well, simply put, it's history and interactions between different countries shown through cute guys representing said countries. (And some adorable girls too, though they are rarer. =3

I honestly wasn't expecting that bookstore to even have it in stock. Their manga section is tiny and consists mostly of Death Note, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Naruto. But then again, it does seem like they've been getting a few different things lately~
