...In all honesty, he's a spoiled little sucker. He gets to keep shiny things and gets brushed and groomed everyday. I can't have him getting dirty and losing his fluffiness, after all. |Da
Unfortunately, he doesn't take hits very well, which is why I'm training him with hugs instead of hardcore battles. ;3;
...And it's also why he's a bit of a lower level. Derp.
He likes to eat sour things, However, sour foods are kind of hard to come by, which, sadly, means he's taken to rummaging through my candy supply. I guess I'll have to learn to stick to sweet things. :|
Even though I'm on a diet and really shouldn't have candy anyway.
He can be a bit of a pain in the ass when he wants to be. I find it's rather difficult to punish him. He's too good at the cute rodent face. And when that fails, electricity can be rather persuasive.
But he behaves most of the time~ Actually, he's rather peaceful usually. He just gets kind of pissed when I insist on flying him all over the place. (Which is actually super fun~ Like hang-gliding~ :D)

I hug her lots too~ She seems like she's cold a lot nowdays, without all her wool and such. ;3;
However, she's a lot better at taking care of herself, unlike another electric Pokemon I know. Though it's probably mostly my fault.
She keeps herself clean, but her fur is always all over the place due to the fact it's so full of static all the time. Which is also probably my fault, seeing as I only have her use electric attacks.
And she eats healthy things too~ Lots of leafy things~ I haven't figured out yet if this is because she just cares that much about her condition or if it's a leftover habit from her younger days as a sheep Mareep. However, she shares Churro's fondness of sour things, and I can't say I don't suspect she may be in on Churro's candy smuggling operation. >:|
Next is the magnificent beast that is Deverau~

I don't know why. He just does.
He didn't smell like salt when I first got him, so I don't even know, guys, really. Maybe it's from surfing in that sea water or something.
Speaking of which, seeing as he spends quite a bit of time in the water, he doesn't really need much grooming. Though really, I don't think he particularly cares about how he looks or smells. He's bigger and stronger than anyone who would tell him otherwise anyway. XD;;
Also, he loves Mexican food~
And as much as I love taking him to Mexican restaurants, it's horribly expensive. ;A;
The guy eats like a... well, like a Feraligatr. D:
But he definitely deserves all the food I give him. He's saved my ass more times than I can count and kicked Team Rocket out of Johto almost single-handedly. (Don't tell the rest of my Pokemon I said that. Especially not Churro. ._.;)
I hug him sometimes too, but he gets all embarrassed about it, so I try not to do it too often. =3=

I don't really understand Bern yet. Bern's just... weird. He... she... they don't make any sense. I mean, I know I don't know Bern very well yet, and we haven't really had many battles or experiences to bond over yet, but... Bern gets distracted so easily and wanders all over the place when we're supposed to be training. Maybe I hurt his/her/whatever pride a bit when I caught him/her/IDK. Bern just doesn't seem that interested in the team as a whole. I guess we'll have to work on this. :|a
Bern's helped me a lot with the candy situation since joining the team, though~
Bern has mad sour food-finding skills and has bonded a bit with Churro and Rena over different berries. Apparently legendary Pokemon are a lot more in-tune with nature or have a berry radar or something. But that said... Bernkastel doesn't share Deverau's ferver for Mexican food, or really anything manmade, for that matter. The thing won't eat anything I make for them either. It's kind of irritating. >:|
...In all honesty, Bern could really use a bath, but we really aren't that close and Bern's just so damn... big. I don't think I can do it myself. ._.

Beatrice only just joined our team recently~ She's still rough around the edges, but she'll get into the groove soon enough. She already gets along very well with everyone, so I'm not worried at all~
And she's very, very pretty. *7*
People tell me she likes dry food, but I personally have no sense of what "dry" food is, so... uh... I've just been feeding her whatever I feel like making and hoping she'll show some preference for something. Maybe doing some research would be more effective. ._.;;

To be honest, she's rather... uh... easily excitable.
[OOC-ish Note 2: The game tells me she "jumps for joy" and "skips around" a lot. I'm not even entirely sure how this is physically possible for a Gyarados, but okay. :|]
I think she has ADHD or something. She gets so excited about every little thing. A flower, a tree, the ocean, a wibble-wobble dancing tower, everything. But she has like... a feeling assigned to everything. And not just a mild connotation, no. We're talking hardcore intense emotions, yo. If she feels happy about a flower, SHE IS HAPPY ABOUT THAT FLOWER. If the tree makes her feel sad, GET OUT YOUR FUCKING UMBRELLA, PACO. If the ocean makes her want to dance, YOU BETTER GET OUT OF HER GODDAMN WAY. SHE BE WHIPPING OUT MOVES ALL OVER THE PLACE.
She's really... made the adventure a lot more... um... interesting, to say the least. (She's made us a lot more aware and cautious about where we go too, that's for sure. ;;)
That said, she was pretty damn pissed when Team Rocket used that radio wave to evolve her. She literally had the grunts running away from the lake for their lives, yo. It was amazing. And you should've seen 'em scramble when I entered their little underground hideout with her. >D
Unfortunately, she seems to repel other trainers too, so I usually have to keep her hidden away in her PokeBall. :|
Well, except for that weird guy who only likes "rare" Pokemon. Apparently he's some kind of masochist or something.
(Though Silver's reaction to her was pretty damn hilarious. I laughed for ages, man. Ages.)
Oh~ And speaking of things she gets excited over, she's a sucker for anything sweet, especially Pecha Berries. =3=
I try to keep her away from anything chocolate though, since I worry she'd start seeking out chocolate companies to rampage through if I ever let her get a taste of it.
I... don't really bother to groom Eve either. She's a bit like Bernkastel in that... I don't think I can. It'd be like a freakin' suicide mission. ;;
And I don't think she sleeps either... I dunno if she just doesn't like sleep or if she likes it so much that she's too excited about sleep to actually do it or what.
...Yeeeeah... The PokeBall's definitely the safest place for her. Definitely. Safest. =A=;;
Our next big challenge is to take on the Elite Four~!! :D
Actually, I've been bribing Deverau to train. I keep telling him the more money we win, the more Mexican food I can he can have. =3=
I've been trying to get everyone to sleep early and awake even earlier for daily training~ But even so, it feels like we haven't really been making much progress. I might have to cut our usual afternoon nap short. =A=;;
After all, taking down the Elite Four is going to take a lot more extra effort than any regular gym leader would~
Though Bernkastel doesn't sleep through the night anyway. I guess a Lugia doesn't need as much sleep as other Pokemon do? :|a
Or maybe it's Eve's fault. Heh. I'd be a bit on edge if I had to sleep next to her too.
I guess we're a bit more lax about exercise and training than we should be, especially with such an important battle coming up. Mostly I think~ There's a more than a few unfortunate souls whose numbers I have in my PokeGear who will be serving as guinea pigs. =3=
Only Deverau and Rena really seem to take time to train on their own, though Rena's been dragging Churro along too lately. They mostly work on agility and focusing and aiming their electricity on a specific target, usually like, hitting a falling leaf or something small that makes a good target like that. Dev does quite a bit of heavy lifting for his own exercise, which often ends up being the trees Rena and Churro accidentally fry and knock down when they miss, which is unfortunately... incredibly often. ;;
(They've got the focus thing down, but the aiming thing... not so much. ;;)
Bernkastel... admittedly, doesn't need as much training as the rest, though it'd be nice if Bern would put a little more effort into the whole teamwork thing.
I can't train Eve. I really... I just... can't. *facepalm*
Beatrice has mostly just been observing her teammates so far. (Though only half make good examples. ;;) But I plan on having her join the rest of them soon~ Unfortunately, it seems I have to train her for the Pokeathalon first. Getting a Fire Stone is much harder than I thought it would be. I guess we'll be spending quite a bit of time running laps instead of doing anything that would actually be productive for battling. =A=;;
Maybe we can get lucky in the Bug Catching contest or something though~ Hm~
[Quick footnote: This is my happy-happy joy times in-game team. This is by no means an EV trained/IV bred, super serious omega metagame team, so please do not go all Smogon U on my ass. ;;
