I finished The Piano Tuner, by Daniel Mason today (beautiful book, I recommend it for anyone looking for truly gorgeous writing) and now I'm reading the Satanic Verses, by Salman Rushdie. I knew it caused an uproar when it was published, but I had /no idea/ about any of this.
