We ran into a spot of trouble crossing on the way into Chicago. It was me, my friend from school and my friend's parents. They have the same last name as me, but she is married and has her husband's last name.

The border guard guy was suspicious because out of the four of us, I guess he figured *I* should be the one with the different last name, being the only non-white person. He kept trying to catch my friend in a lie, and she too stumbled over some of the questions. I was pretty anxious by the time he let us cross.

Coming back, I expected problems, but we had none. The guy was like, "I'm only gonna hassle you if I don't believe your passports."

It still didn't take us very long on the way over though. How long did it take you?
