My buddy Sam told me his housemates might be holding a Star Trek themed New Year's Eve party and I'm invited if it does happen. I hope it does because it will either be the greatest thing ever or the most ridiculous thing ever. Yes it could be other things but I'm not acknowledging that ( Read more... )

Holy crap! That's an incredibly "not being sick" record. Have you actually not been sick, or have you just not stayed home? If the former, I want to know how this is accomplished.

Anyway, feel better!

Usually I don't feel ill enough to justify being home. It's quite rare for me to get those knock you on your ass, lie in bed cause you can't do much else sicknesses. Even with this I probably could have gone back to work today but then I figured the head at work had seemed to be what really triggered things and I'd being falling short on sleep constantly for a couple weeks now so rest seemed the best choice.

Usually the worst I get is a stuffed up nose. Guess I'm just lucky that way. I think stress levels may affect it. I remember in third year I was up to my ears in crap and got laid out longer than I have in recent memory. It's been a while since my life was steadily stressful.

You want to know my new years eve plans? My new years eve plans involve all 5 seasons of star trek enterprise, possibly projected onto the wall, and non-stop finger food. And probably copious drinking. Awesome!!

I thought it was only four seasons. I definitely think that was an underrated show. People left after the first season or two forgetting that every single star trek series took 1-2 seasons to get its footing. Heck the original was cancelled after the second season and barely got a third. That's kinda cool though.

Oh, it might be only four seasons... we picked it cause its the shortest non-TOS series and it doesnt overlap with any of the other series timeline-wise.
