It's been a while since I've written in here.

School
School is going very well. I love my classes. My Media Studies professor is very experienced and enthusiastic and the class is based around several interesting, "real-life" projects (you may just catch a familiar voice waxing poetic about the importance of staying active in the winter if you ( Read more... )

hey hey-
thanks for writing back. i'm leaning away from the WW thing at this point, but I'm gonna mull it over this weekend (program here at work starts monday). I am a bit worried about what you described, as I know that I am not "overweight" i'd just like to modify my eating habits and lose a bit of belly flab :-P Like I said below, I think I need to just focus on healthy eating and exercise.

I've heard that people have good success with weight watchers. I think a program that helps aid someone in portion control and choosing healthy meal options is a good thing (just for basic health reasons, not even weight loss reasons). That being said, you're absolutely gorgeous and don't "need" to lose weight, but I understand the whole not "feeling" healthy b/c of time away from working out and stuff. I'm feeling that same thing right now! I can't wait to dig the car out and go to the gym since it's been a week, and back in MA I used to go to the gym 3-5 times a week, and now (since I've moved really) it's more like 1-2, and sometimes 3 if I'm really lucky. makes me feel a bit on the blobby side ( ... )

hey-thanks for your v. informative response. It's not so much a matter of "losing weight" as "feeling less blobby." My job offers a WW reimbursement, so it would only be $20 or so for the whole program. Still, I'm leaning against it at this point. I'm pretty busy with work and school these days, and the though of adding counting points to my daily to-do list makes me a little ill :-p. The program starts on Monday, so I'll give it a bit more thought this weekend.

I think I just need to focus on eating healthier and making exercise a priority in my life. I've been a stressball lately, and exercise seems to be the only thing that helps.

Thanks again--hope you are well!
