I have been meaning to do the climb for several years now.. almost did it last year but it was all weird with a registration fee and a min fundrasing.. and no tshirt.. and it just put me off.. but this year it is back to normal so I am doing it!

oh, and I don't know about buying a mattress 2nd hand.. sounds iffy to me.. and I saw a documentary on like dateline once that went to a bunch of stores that "cleaned" and re-covered matteress.. and they like cut them open and did like CSI testing on them.. and it was VERY VERY nasty.. but im sure a decent place like salvation army wouldn't do that..
