Off to Ireland for a week! The weather here is grey and rainy, hope it's better when I get there...

I did, thanks! :-) The weather has been *awesome*, and the shows were mindblowing. I have now seen several legends (Kris Kremo, Sergei Ignatov, Alan Blim, Stefan Sing) perform on stage, as well as many up-and-comings.

P.S. I hear it's sometimes helpful to take your passport with you when attempting to travel abroad :P

Though it is allegedly not necessary going to Ireland - I've shown just my driving licence (I did have my passport in the other hand when I tested this).

I did it, as I mentioned to muppster with an old-style LUL photocard (predating Oyster for travelcards). This was enough, apparently! :-)

Or, if in Dublin, the brews in the Porterhouse. Makes Guinness look like the mass-produced stuff it is.

(But if Guiness is all there is, I certainly wouldn't turn it down.)

Wah, I actually didn't drink at all during the convention (not sure quite how I managed that - think it must have just been the sheer amount of devilstick I ended up doing). But now, I'm shattered, my arms feel like jelly and - yay - I have work in the morning, so I think it is time for bed!
