Lush UK Vanishing Cream?

Has anyone purchased Vanishing Cream from Lush UK recently? I received mine in the mail yesterday and am just baffled right now. The consistency is much more watery/thin and the smell is completely different. It doesn't moisturize my skin as it usually does. (I actually woke up this morning with the feeling of dry skin!)

I know that different people make batches differently-- I had this problem with Imperialis. There were only a couple people who could make it the way I was used to, otherwise it was gray and had a much thicker consistency with an off smell.

Very interesting. This is an off the hand comment but I just used Imperialis for the first time and it was really pink. Then I saw a picture of it on the website where it seemed it was supposed to be more white and I was really baffled.

i've not had it with vc but have had it with another product - it was so thin it just ran through my fingers like water. when i asked about it i got a standard 'consistency can vary across batches' reply from cs on twitter, which i wasn't v impressed with!

I got a similar explanation through email, but they said that I can mail it back to Customer Care for them to "investigate the matter further" and they'll send me a replacement. I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle, though... I keep having problems with Lush UK this time around!

I ordered Vanishing Cream from the UK recently, but haven't used it yet. But yeah, it IS very watery compared to the NA version! My sister-in-law has also tried both versions. She, on the other hand, finds them to have the same effect on her skin.

Once I finish my NA sample, I'm going to try out my UK Vanishing Cream and see where that takes me. I'll post an update eventually if you want me to.
