FUN

Hey you guys, has anyone tried the new FUN bars on the UK website?  They look pretty awesome, I've ordered one in each colour because I'm obsessed like that.  Apparently the scents are all unique, though from what I read, the green one sounds like Avobath, the red like Olive Branch, the pink like Creamy Candy, the Yellow like Vanilliary/Snowcake ( Read more... )

I ordered the Fair Trade Honey shampoo and I hate it. I have to use tons of it to get a decent lather going, and I was a little disappointed by the smell too. I guess I was expecting a Honey, I Washed The Kids kinda smell. :-/

Really? I love it, I adore that smell of real, fresh honey with the rose and geranium edge. I didn't find the lather a problem either ... different batches maybe?

The pink fun is very like rose jam with out the rose. It's not like creamy candy to me but it's a very nice sweet scent. The green is somewhere between avobath and calacas to me. The blue is pure lavender - I don't get any chamomile scent off it at all. I didn't get yellow or red but in store the yellow just smelled like playdough to me. (I have read the vanilla comes out more in use) I didn't get red as I didn't want two citrusy ones. I wish they'd made the red a spicy scent - especially at this time of year. The scent levels on fun are great though - you don't need very much to get a strong smelling bath - though they aren't that bubbley.

They sound awesome! I'm more into scent than bubbles, so that's perfect.

I got the pink one and it's a lovely sweet smell. It's not too similar to creamy candy, but it's not a world away either. The scent is really strong. I've currently got the bar sat on my drawers in my bedroom and every time I walk in here I'm hit by the sent. It's really nice.

Can I ask how well does it work as a shampoo? (I'm a fan of the solid ones, but not so keen on Trichomania, Gentle Lentil and the likes... Makes my hair feel dirty and straw-like.)

@patch_tank: Have you tried the salt spray at all? I'm nearly finished with my Charles Worthington one and I'm in need of something that smells less like chemicals.

Yes! I have it and I love it. Salt sprays are my go-to hair product, because they do awesome texturising things for my hair, and of the 3 I currently own, Sea Spray is my favourite. It's a little thicker than I thought it would be, but it works wonders and smells like orange blossoms. Just FYI, if you don't like it, try evo: Salty Dog or KMS HairPlay - both work really well and smell awesome.

Ha, you have me right there at orange blossoms!! That line is severely under-represented amongst Lush's current line up. I'll be snagging a bottle for myself once my current spray runs out (and this time I can swish my hair around without worry of my nose being attacked!).

Thank you ever so much for the extra pointers and I'll be sure to check them out in case things go downhill with Sea Spray~
