I've recently started loving lush. However, the biggest issue with my skin is Keratosis Pilaris (face and upper arms). If anyone here has KP, are there any products you recommend to smooth the skin? I've heard sea salt might be good, and I'm currenly trying Rub Rub Rub. As a cleanser, I use Fresh Farmacy and it's helping a tiny little bit ( Read more... )

Exfoliating KP often makes it worse. Anything with lactic acid will help the most. I'm not sure if any Lush products use LA, but AmLactin can help immensely.

Not a Lush product (I can't use a lot of their body stuff because of a cocoa butter allergy) but pure coconut oil has been an absolute godsend for my KP. Also, the pumpkin butters from Haus of Gloi (shea butter and pumpkin oil) are really good :)

Seconding Coconut Oil! That has made a difference with my KP. IDK how I forgot it.

I'd recommend searching the tags. When the community was more active, I know this question was asked before with a lot of advice. Have you tried Dream Cream? Or maybe Buffy? I think I remember people saying those were helpful. Buffy is a more gentle exfoliation and it's moisturizing too!

Buffy helps a lot if you use it in an up and down movement - though it's not for the face. It has shea and coco butters for moisture with a very light, gentle exfoliation to help get rid of the dead skin without being too abrasive.
