Do you have Wachovia where you live? (It appears to be a pretty Southern thing.) If so, go there! I'm about to move my money (what little I have, haha) over there. No fees, nice people...

is there Washington Mutual there? i have my business account through them and i like them. otherwise i'd suggest a credit union. i've been with a credit union my whole life....actually the only reason i didn't use the credit union for my business account is because they don't do business accounts. credit unions rock. they treat you really well.

i have an account at a credit union. wells fargo was my bill paying account...so i just need another checking account with free billpay. i've heard many good things about wamu, so i may try them out. :D i have a cashier's check burning a hole in my pocket and i can't do anything until monday.

I recommend US Bank. They have been very nice to me.

I recommend any free basic checking account you can find (I have mine at chase) and then getting an online savings and checking through ING Direct. The high yield interest on both is a really nice benefit:)

oh, and if you'd like a referral link, let me know and I can email to you. It's a promotional thing where they'll put $25 in your account when you open it with $250.
