Human minds dissapoint me. People think they've got these great thoughts, but really you're conscious thought process is only the tip of the iceberg of mental capability. actually only about 10% of our mind is really in use.
so just think thats 90% of thought that are blocked off from our mind that could be racing with thoughts and the cure for cancer and all but we dont use it.

what does "10% of our mind" refer to? By mind do you mean the complete process of thinking conscious and nonconscious, or just the processes that we are aware of?

and i never really got it when people told me we only use 10% of our minds. does that mean the other 90% is just processes of the mind that we are unaware of? such as when you sing in the car and you hit all the notes and sing all the words but you're mind's on something completely different such as what you're going to eat for lunch? or does it mean that the other 90% of our brain is controlling nonvoluntary actions like breathing, and pumping blood? or does it mean it has absolutely no use. its just tissue sitting in our skull?

we have a whole brain right? so only one tenth of that brain is actually used and listened to, unless you're a genius and you might get like..15%? but you never fully use your whole brain which if you completely opened up could PROBABLY help towards the cure for cancer, etc. the other 9/10 of our brain is not paid attention to.
