smartphone, smart choice

So I changed wireless carriers a month and a half ago, upgrading to a smartphone in the process.  Despite what some of my friends think, I have wanted a smartphone for a long while now - I just did not want to pay an exorbitant amount for data when 95% of the time that I would want to do anything that requires data, I have access to WiFi.  I wanted ( Read more... )

We rarely actually talk on the phone - between IM at work and texting, I communicate in text form an awful lot these days.

I need to find a good hiking tracking app and you may have just prompted me to look at the one you're using. The cost of the plan, etc. grinds on me too, but there are an awful lot of nice things about the smart phone that I use rarely but are important. Like helping navigate through Chicago so I can watch traffic instead of watching signs!
