High Fructose Corn Syrup

Has anybody else seen these stupid commercials on tv lately about how high fructose corn syrup is 'just as good as sugar and natural and made from corn'? This is a load of shit. It's been used a preservative in just about EVERYTHING these days, and if having that much SUGAR isn't good for you, I'd say that goes for HFCS as well. Also if you check ( Read more... )

The article is interesting I grant you. But it still does not adequately explain why EVERYTHING from spaghetti sauce to bread to corn chips has HFCS in it. I mean... come on! Corn chips are the saltiest things on the planet why do they need to be sweetened with HFCS? They don't. It's used as a preservative. And when I make spaghetti sauce from scratch is sugar in the recipe? nope ( ... )
