ROFL? I think the ROFL is misplaced. I see not the place it has in that comment, for nothing I said was especially commical.
I demand you explain the ROFL.

I know. Vain as this sounds, my hair is really important to me, it's like the best thing I have going for me because when I take care of it, it usually looks lovely and I get lots of compliments on it. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this honestly, whether or not people think less of me for saying it:
Compliments are good, I want them, if it costs me $16 in shampoo and conditioner every few months, then I can live with that.

Re: My staple shopping list.... luthien_amandil April 29 2005, 12:56:31 UTC
Personally I think that shopping weekly is good, because it does make you budget a lot more, and you can shop more to what you want. Like if you're craving something, you have the money to buy it if you want, whereas with a monthly or fortnightly shop, once you buy the food you're obliged to eat it.
And also, because it means you buy fruit. I try to eat a piece of fruit every day, because unless I consciously buy seven pieces of fruit, I find I don't eat any fruit. Which is bad.

I think it's because you're english. Maybe I'm making unfair generalisations, but I find, of all the countries I have been to, Australia processes it's food the least. In America, everything I ate came in a plastic bag, in New Zealand...everything was smaller (Yay Australian GM legislation!!!) and in South Africa...fruit is...prickly..and oddly coloured. I...don't remember fruit in England :/ Or in Singapore, oddly enough.
