Woo to tunes and stories!!! The Viking's exam is over! Now all I have to do is memorize my damn 6 page flute piece before the 30th of november, and actually write the paper that goes with the viking's class as well! Feel free to call if you get bored on your way home!
I remember leaving the music building parking lot (that had a total of ten spaces) and grabbing lunch at Captain D's or wherever. And then returning to the music building parking lot, stealing a space from someone and parking there. You'd say "Score!" And we'd be thankful that we didn't have to park in BFE.

Hmm, let me think...
Picking out a tarot reader in New Orleans, strolling through Williamsburg, listening to Gwendolyn Brooks, singing on the band bus...
Randomly, do you remember that time you and Amber and Cory and I studied for December exams at your house and watched My Fair Lady instead? Or how I would come hang out with y'all in the art room before homeroom freshman year, to have to sprint back to Coach Naman's every time? Do you remember why the world would be a better place if we all used the barter system? Do you remember sticking around even after we were technically through with school to paint our desertscape mural for Mrs. Dawkins? Or our very much less-than-serious book club meetings? Or our literary acts of civil disobedience (ha, both for Fontenot AND your terrible and not-so-civil tirade against McEnery)? Or getting ready for prom at Whitney's house?

God those are great memories.....i don't miss high school, but those are still great memories. And might I point out, that I still think the bartering system is FAR superior to the whole money thing....seeing as I have none. I might also point out, that while I helped with the desertscape, you're the only one of the two of us with any visual artistic skill....I just mixed the paint and did what you told me to do. ;) I also happen to remember your incredible undead costume for the mock trial in fontenot's class. ;) Yay for reminiscences
