Dear Bill -- I used the site for the SF class -- it was very helpful on a number of occasions. I haven't tried to submit updates, but I expect a query at http://isfdb.tamu.edu/wiki/index.php/ISFDB:Beta_recruitment might produce a response.

It's good to hear from you, however briefly -- alas, I too have been sad for a fair spell now -- it seems to be a bit of an epidemic. Anyhow, sympathy and a beverage of your choice, which I shall attempt not to spill all over both of us...

Oh, I bypassed the Beta process and just signed up as an Editor... I'm learning on the job, but have already made it in to the Top 10 contributors with only 4 rejected edits. I do seem to be asking some awkward questions, but then I did tackle some more unusual tasks like categorising the Discworld "Mapps". Just verifying the publications you own helps them though, and is about as simple a task as there can be. (Still 2000 to go for me...)

It's fun, they're a friendly lot to newcomers, and there's a bit of community spirit among the active people.
