Our apartment complex is going to be having their annual yard sale this weekend, and in preparation for moving, we are trying to pare down the amount of stuff we have. I hate doing yardsales though. We had one about two years back. We advertised when and where it was going to be about two weeks ahead of time and we also put signs out two weeks ahead of time. Still, only three people actually showed up. It was quite depressing. We ended up giving the rest of the stuff to Goodwill and ever since then we just take everything to Goodwill and write it off at the end of the year for a tax break.
