Poor Phi

Phi is a sick bear this week. Strep brought on by tonsillitis. He sounds like muppet, and has been drinking lots of hot tea, thera-flu, ginger ale, and gatorade and eating soup. He also stole the last half of my strawberry popsicle last night.... Okay, I offered it to him, but he snatched that thing so fast, I was worried for my fingers

Sounds like the sick bear needs to hybernate for a bit.

Does this mean no chance of kayaking this weekend? I was thinking of planning a trip down the hooch and was going to invite you two to join me.

Zero chance of kayaking, I'm afraid. He's worse today than he has been... and I'm stuck at home waiting to hear from the doctor (I'm not sure that is ever going to happen) about whether he needs to go in again, or get a different prescription, or what. His mom had suggested asking about an antibiotic shot... of course we can't ask about anything when we can't talk to the bleeding doctor.
