I was going to say that certainty is attractive to me, too, but that's not true. What really kills me dead with attraction is when people who are uncertain--who doubt, as you say--and are really secure in their uncertainty, like it's no big deal that they don't have the answers and it doesn't sweat them that their actions or emotions confuse themselves sometimes. Like it's not threatening even if there's a lot of uncertainty.
"Certainty" seems to bring with it a certain amount of close-mindedness. Only those who doubt their beliefs can be truly open to the possibility of those beliefs being wrong, and therefore can seek out more accurate/satisfying beliefs, or at least more and better justification for the beliefs you do have. I would take your assertion one step further, then, and say that "Doubt is a necessary condition (or at least a very helpful tool) for the acquisition of knowledge." But I'm not sure that's true.
Also, I think it's delightful that you spotted the font change. That font site is really cool (in a dorky sense of the word "cool").
