hey. So I know I don't know much about the situation with the arts credit because I don't go to wilson, but I could try to give you some advice? Do you know for sure that you are applying to a UC school, or really want to go to one? If you do... well, it may be a step down, but you could take a class that isn't AP. I know at lincoln we have "advanced art" which is the prerequisite to "IB art". so I guess maybe taking a class like that would still look pretty good on a resume (better than like a beginning acting class or something) and would get you that required arts credit. Sorry I'm not much help in getting you out of this pickle, and I hope it all works out in the end.
Thanks for the advice! I did think about it, and UC Berkeley is one of my top five college choices and I would be sad to sacrifice it.. but I like your advice. Stepping down will also allow me to breathe a bit more in a schedule full of AP classes- unlike yourself, Miss Full IB!! That is really impressive though, I was talking to someone at Lincoln from work who said that the people who tackle the full IB program are the ones who are serious and eventually end up really succeeding in college and then (I'm predicting) in life! Yay Apathy!!
I'll call you soon- sorry I haven't yet had the chance to. My last day of work was yesterday (summer starts for me today and ends on wednesday. Sad) and I just got back from Eugene. Did your mom ever tell you we ran into each other at the Nikkei Community Picnic?
Yeah, of all the art classes that's the one I'm most inclined to take. But mostly only because you get to develope your own pictures and the idea of that seems like so much fun!! Although my pictures will mostly likely suck..
