Fangirlsm
I just realized I've not posted since my little emo rant. But, all is well now and I feel much better. Thanks, guys. I loves you all.
And now, a completely different topic! Avatar love! I bought the newest DVD last week (even though I prefer boxsets; heck, I'm still buying the boxset...) and now I have to fangirl over it. It was so darn awesome.
So, first episode was Day of Black Sun part 2. Very cool, but I've seen it a hundred times and it lacks the first part with the Kataang kiss. But, hey, it's still five types of awesome, what with Zuko confronting daddy and Sokka fangirling over Toph. XD What I was looking forward to was the other NEW four eps. Why they released this DVD without airing them first I will never know.
But, who care?
Western Air Temple. I had sort of spoiled myself for that one, but it was nice to actually see it. Teo, Duke and Haru were out hitting the slopes, I guess. They're sorta useless, poor boys. Watching Zuko as the comic relief was priceless. His impersonation of Azula and Uncle were actually pretty good- his Azula one made me laugh so hard. It was pretty much true. And seeing Uncle, if only on a flashback, was nice. Glad to see Zuko in the group, but Katara's rant, though understandable, was really not like her. But if the guy who had been trying to kill me for the entire first season and ultimately helped kill my bestest friend, guess I'd be miffed, too. XD
A lot of Kataangers were pleased with her rant, but I still don't see it concreting Zutara's headstone. Though I want Kataang to prevail, I just don't really know at the moment. Or care.
The Firebending Masters was very cool. I love all the episodes, though TFM really rocked. Zuko and Aang bonding, Zuko breaking the third wall (I think? Momentarily?) seeing the masters... very cool. And Zuko continues to grow as a character. He's starting to lighten up, which he needed to do a long time ago. Katara continues to be snarky here, too. Like the 's realism. Avatar's pretty good for that, though...
Boiling Rock part one and two were SO AWESOME! Like, for realz, ppl. I loved them so very much. Sokka and Zuko bonding this time around. The girlfriend conversation...I was laughing so hard. It sounded like such a guy thing.
"Yeah, my first girlfriend turned into the moon."
"That's rough, buddy."

Suki come back, which I really didn't care about. I do like her, but I dunno. And Hakoda is alive and all is well. But we get a new charcter. Chit Sang comes into the picture. What the heck? Six episodes left and we get a new face? Though he is great. I love his typical prisoner talk and attitude. Oh, oh, and Azula? She's losing her marbles. We all knew it was bound to happen. And Ty Lee with the jabs? Did not see that coming. Though Mai was predictable. I loved her betrayal line.
Speaking of Mai, if Maiko is not canon in the end I will be sad. Not just because I'm rooting for Kataang, but because I really like Mai and Zuko as a couple. I've always just accepted it, but here lately I really like it. And TBR just cemented it. Her reaction when he locked her in the cell? Her conversation with Azula? The fact that she saved his scared booty? Yeah, I'm pretty sure she's head over heels for the guy. Zuko... I know he cares about her. I'm pretty sure he loves her. And after everything she did for him TBR, he owes her. XD
I better see a Maikout in the series finale. Or I'll be a sad fangirl.
And now I'm done. I'd love to drone on and on, but I feel silly. XD
On another completely different topic, I've almost finished a Beyond Good and Evil oneshot. Yay! And I have an almost-completed Maiko oneshot penned down in my notebook. Double yay! I just have to type it up and finish it soon. I thought I was done with Maiko fanfiction, but I couldn't help it. TBR gave me inspiration.
And... uh... now I'm gonna go play Fire Emblem on the Wii. Because it's just awesome.
