I am actually feeling a bit better. I still kind of feel like I'm second best, which is atually the shittiest feeling in the world, but the whole Tom situation, I'm coming to terms with it. I am really happy for you! I really need to do that but to be honest I've lost my trust in a lot of people. Which really sucks, but oh well. YOU? Second best? I think not. Ok, so tom wants emily. Big deal, it doesn't make you second best. I know (well, you'll say i don't know how you feel, so i'll adjust the word know for the word think)...i think i know how you feel, because i had a massive phase of this, as you well know. And trust me, you aren't second best. Tom doesn't do second best, because he has a sense of honour. He knows how he feels. But before you accuse me of being more negative, it's better not to be in the race than to be second best. Because at least you can face up to the fact and move on to a guy who can appreciate you for what you are, instead of lingering in the past. It took me about 3 months to realise that. DON'T LET IT TAKE YOU THAT LONG. It'll only hurt more.
