Ugh, how many of you have that one person that makes your life absolute hell? Whats sad, is that person for me doesn't even directly effect me, he's a doll to my face, but I know that he's far from true! He talks so much bull about people I really care about, and it hurts me ( Read more... )

just so you know...under god was not in the original pledge of alligience...therefore our forefathers did not have it written in there that our nation was founded under god. It was added after some war...im not exactly sure which one though. I understand your point, but not everyone believes that this country should be based on the values of religion or God. that is where so many problems come from...conflicts about religion.

Who is this that keeps replying? Why do you feel the need to hide behind an annonomous name? You lose all credibility when you don't have the courage enough to stand behind your beliefs. And though 'under God' was placed there in 1954, it doesn't take away from the fact that our country was founded under God. Look at our currency, he's there, in almost all of the public buildings in D.C. have some sort of reference to God, and our nation was founded by the puritans who searched for religious freedom. Not once did I say we should ban other religions, but the puritans deemed the country to be under God. Yes, religions can cause problems, but so does money, should we burn all of our currency? See this is the problem with liberal views, in a utopian society, they are very wonderful ideas, but you must be realistic. God has been taken out of our country, and the simple fact is, he needs to come back. It's when we started to lose him that we've started to lose a lot of stability.
