Band concert tonight at 7, just wind ensemble. Everyone should come, we're playing Harry Potter! Plus, alyssa, robyn, amanda, and i are playing our quartet one last time. Mr. Schaer reminded all of us seniors today that it is our last h.s. band concert, ever. awww that's sad.

hey! we were NHS officers together and i saw that you're going to UCF! I'm so happy for you .. I absolutely love it here! are you coming for summer of fall/where are you living/are you rushing?

Hey! Thanks :) i can't wait to go to UCF, i'm so excited! I'm coming in the fall, and i applied to live in academic village in the dual occupancy dorms (hopefully i get in). I haven't decided whether i'm rushing yet or not. I'd really like to because i've heard how you make so many friends and it's a lot of fun, but i also heard it's pretty pricey. What about you, are you in a sorority? And where did you live this year? i love getting advice from current students!

I actually have an off-campus apartment this year but I'm moving into Alafaya Club (off campus student housing) in August! AV I hear are the nicest dorms though :)

I am so, so, so glad that I rushed - I'm a Zeta Tau Alpha! It is the best time ever and there are so many opportunities for leadership as well as social events. Everyone is so friendly and fun :) The expenses are all-inclusive, so you do have to pay per semester, but all of our socials, fundraisers, formals, and semi-formals are included (for both you and your date), plus an awesome mealplan which is 3 meals/day/5 days a week.

I personally think that it is worth it, but if you're not positive, you can still go through rush and decide later that you don't want to do it. Rush itself is a great way to get to know people before school actually starts :)

I really really hope i get into AV since it's the nicest!

Yeah the more i think about it, i really want to rush! So i most likely will, and like you said it's a great way to meet people before school actually starts.
