Peter Jackson is producing a feature-length movie adapted from Alive in Joburg. Also, I don't know what you guys are talking about; the G.I. Joe movie is gonna be awesome. I mean, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander! Joseph Gordon-Levitt!!

What don't you like in the Airbender teaser? The super cheesy voiceover is kind of lame, but for a trailer is kind of needed. I thought it looked more promising then I assumed it would.

I can tell you what I don't like about it. They seem to have made an attempt to make the movie more serious than the show. In interviews, there's been talk of "grounding" Sokka and getting rid of some of the "slapsticky" humor. Fuck that. What I like about the show is that it's a really well put together story of these kids who are saving the world, but it remains clear the whole time that they are kids. My concern is that the movie is going to take all the fun out of Avatar, and that would be a huge mistake.

I can see that, I haven't been spending any time reading about it, because I assume it will be terrible. The trailer looked not bad in my opinion though.

The trailer gave me the impression that the effects will be fancy, but that's about all the film has going for it.

Don't talk about Airbender. It makes hoshizora cry. Although, I have to say, this might be the second movie that you and I agree on. The trailer and looks awful.
