good news! That gives me plenty of time to finish reading Locke Lamora, and also make another attempt at reading A Shadow in Summer.

You will like it, I think. It's one of those rare games that's perfect for kids, yet also good for adults since both sets will approach the game differently. So far I really like it, but it does have some issues. The main character doesn't always quite do what you want him to or move where you want him to without lots of pathfinding hiccups and some of the words are very powerful and essentially trump every other word of the same type. Granted, if you want to go for originality, you'll have to put on your thinking cap, but a lot of objects are so multi useful and powerful that I almost think there should have been some limiting factors. It also would have been nice if they had given the objects some sort of relative size/weight factor. As it is, it seems like the game doesn't understand that, so it can be hard to actually do certain logical things since everything weighs the same ( ... )

A. got that today! or was planning to. i'm super excited to play it. hopefully he'll finish Professor Layton so i can have THAT while he moves on to Squigglewhatsits. :D
