are you f'ing serious?!?! I LOVE LOVE LOVE re-finished houses, that haven't lost too much of the original style. did her dad buy this especially for her to live in? he must be rolling in the dough! how many roommates will you have? what's your rent?

yeah, it's perfect. I love it. I'm living in the older part of the house, which originially had two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. It has tappered ceilings, and wooden floors in my room and everything. Though it's a lot smaller than the rooms in the addition, it's perfect for me! Her dad bought it well.. for her, and us. It's going to be 4 of us living there, and everything we were looking at apartment and townhouse-wise was too cramped, and Sarah has a lot of stuff, haha. Her dad is pretty well off, and she has a big family so he wanted to invest in some property down here since the campus and the university is growing so quickly. It's a great investment for him, expecially for the price he paid. You would NOT find a price like this one a house in northern VA. I'm not TOO sure what the rent will be, because he hasn't decided how he's going to finance the house and that will depend on how much we're paying him. It's going to be somewhere between $275 and $300 though.
