favourite arashi b-side of 2010
i've been thinking on doing this post since october, just before the end of the year...and pardon me for not doing a post for aiba's birthday..so Happy Belated Aiba Day everyone!!! since i think everyone must have talked about the a-sides, let now talk about the b-sides. so now here goes..
MY FAVOURITE ARASHI'S B-SIDES OF 2010!!!
1) Over (from Love Rainbow)
from what i remembered...this song came out around raya... that time i was in malaysia and i didn't extract it of from winrar just after i downloaded the file since i'm not really a fan of love rainbow (i'm not hating it...just not really love it) and as soon as i heard this song, i must say I LOVE this song more than the a-side!!! i regret for not extracting it earlier...it's such a BEAUTIFUL SONG!!!
so, how come Over become my no 1 :
2) Time Capsule (from Dear Snow)
at first when i listened to this song, i was like 'meh??'..but then the melody stuck in my head, that when i listen to it over and over again, i fell in love with it and each time when i listen to it, it made a smile on my face...really...i love the sax playing when the guys aren't singing...it reminds me of typhoon generation...the vocals are just average, but the song has nice harmonizing...
when i read the translation for this song, it reminds me about memories...how much our past shaped us into what we are now...that when we look back into our memories, we'll smile or laugh, thinking how silly we were, or why did we do such a thing...etc...that how much things has changed from that day till now...how our perspective of life, our ambition and our future dreams has changed a lot now...and yes, from the title itself remind me of arashi's time capsule that they had dig out during jikken sp..when they heard the contents of their letters, they just laugh at it...stating how silly they were back then...time capsule...i wonder if i did it now, will i still be here to open it up someday?...
3) Maboroshi (from Hatenai Sora)
honestly, picking up the no3 is tough...over and time capsule won my heart that in terms of ranking, maboroshi is far behind both... i love this song but what make it no.3 in my fav list is because i didn't like the intro and end music...it somehow ruins the mood for me as somehow it didn't really fit the sad lyrics of the song...ohno's voice was awesome as always and everybody else were good too...
reading the translation, i'd say it's a sad song...a song that you'll dedicate to someone that you love but that someone is too far away from you..as in you cannot reach that person, you cannot be with that person...still because you love that someone so much, you'll never forget him/her forever...
so, there you go..my favourite arashi b-sides of this year...as for the other songs, i admit, it took a much longer time for me to fall in love with them...hope that next year, arashi will release greater songs than this year...

- the piano work at the intro...very well done...it stucks in my head for a very long time (this factor really matters!!!)
- sho's voice at the beginning...how soothing it was!!! then followed by nino's...i've melted~ even jun's voice sounded good!!!
- ohno's voice during bridge (that yume no atosaki no part ) then followed by sakumiya part *dies~
- it's a ballad *obviously which has sad lyrics that tells about hope... everyone may had hoped (or dreamed) of anything...even after all those heart breaks and doubts, we still want to put up hopes and dreams for that special something to happen...the song just tells you that no matter what, never stop hoping for the best..
