House afire

So, have you ever been woken up by sirens, looked out the window, seen gobs of fire trucks, and then realized that your neighbor's house is on fire? Wow how scary! Is this the old house across the street? The really big one?

No, it's the smaller one to the north, between the big house and that giant beige thing they built on that huge empty lot. It's somewhat obscured by big trees so you don't always notice it. There was so much smoke that I couldn't see the big house for awhile and walked further down the street to see if it was OK.

Was mike kinda short and pudgy? Bald? I think I know which one you are talking about, Grade A arson investigator.

Glad your crews got it knocked down well.

Oh, and I like the "tons of smoke damage and more from the firefighters doing their fire fighting".

Honest we just are making sure we got all the fire, we try and make *small* holes!

Yes, that was him. Very nice and seemed super competent. It was interesting hearing him explain everything.

I'm sure the chainsaw was just for effect. ;-) Seriously, I'm sure they didn't do more than they had to!
