Jack watched Elizabeth lean upon the Pearl's rail. He couldn't help his eyes taking liberties, scanning north and south, before coming to an appreciative rest on her lovely, breeches-clad derriere.
Lizzie's flair for mimicry notwithstanding, he wondered how the Trader's crew could've ever taken her for a lad. True, he'd been fooled… for a scant moment, after one careless glance on a dimly-lit pier. But in close quarters with her, twenty-four hours a day?
What man wouldn't be inflamed, seeing her shapely bum? Many a youth may be fair of face, but no posterior was as charming as a lady's!
